Quick answers

What do I need to send you?
A few answers about your story (names, how you met, favourite moments, inside jokes) and 3 to 10 photos of the people in it. Phone photos are perfect. It takes about 5 minutes, right after checkout.
What's the difference between Storybook and Animated?
The Storybook Video is your story as a set of cartoon pictures with gentle movement, music and captions. The Animated Cartoon is fully animated, with moving scenes and a friendly narrator telling your story.
How long does it take?
Your preview arrives in about 2 to 3 days after you share your story, or within 24 hours with the rush extra. It's a digital gift, so it can still be a great last-minute surprise.
What if I don't love the preview?
Tell us what to fix and we'll fix it, free, until you love it: names, faces, words, colours, the order of scenes. If we still can't get it right, you get your money back. Want a brand-new scene after the preview? You can add one for $9.
How does "in your voice" work?
After checkout you record about 30 seconds of yourself reading a short script, right on your phone. We use it so the story is told in your own voice, and (with the song) sung in your voice too. It must be your own voice. We only use it for your cartoon and delete it once you approve the final video.
What is the original song?
We write a happy song about your story, with your family's names in the lyrics, sung in your voice, and turn your cartoon into a music video. It's our own music, so it's always safe to share online.
Can I use photos of my kids or family?
Yes, if you're their parent or guardian. You'll confirm you have the right to use every photo and that everyone pictured (or their parent) is happy for it to be used. We only use your photos and story to make your cartoon, and never share them or use them anywhere else without your OK.
What do I get at the end?
A video file (MP4) that plays on any phone, tablet or computer, plus your free movie poster, HD picture pack and a surprise reveal card with a QR code.
